A nicely toned tetradrachm from Olynthos of beautiful style

MACEDON, Chalkidian League. Circa 390 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 14.29 g, 3 h), Olynthos. Laureate head of Apollo to left. Rev. XAΛ-KIΔ-EΩN Kithara with six strings; all within shallow incuse square. Robinson & Clement Group F, 6 (A6/P6). SNG ANS 471. A lightly toned example of splendid classical style. Slightly granular and with light marks on cheek, otherwise, about extremely fine.
